AWARD for Cloud-Managed Endpoint Security from G DATA and Microsoft

With the cloud in Germany, Microsoft is offering a solution in compliance with strict German data protection regulations. Among other things, this is safeguarded by the company's own data centers set up in Frankfurt and in Magdeburg. The Managed Endpoint Security from G DATA, specifically geared towards Azure architecture, safeguards the protection of sensitive company data from unauthorized access. For this service, AV-TEST is presenting the INNOVATION AWARD 2016 to the companies G DATA and Microsoft at the CeBIT Exhibition in Hanover.

From 2016, Microsoft is also offering its Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online services via data centers of a trustee located in Germany. In doing so, Microsoft is investing in the future of the location and offering companies and organizations from data-sensitive industries a local cloud solution that conforms to the strict German data protection regulations.

At project launch, G DATA is the sole antivirus manufacturer offering Managed Endpoint Security specifically geared towards Azure architecture. The scaling of cloud resources is handled conveniently per dashboard or via a pre-configured management server.

The advantages of Managed Endpoint Security powered by Microsoft Azure:

  • Opportunities to choose: In the future, customers in Germany and Europe will have the choice between global and local cloud services from Microsoft
  • Transparency: For customers, it is always transparent how and where their data is being processed
  • Compliance: Customers can comply with their specific regulatory and statutory obligations
  • Innovation: Customers benefit from current service versions for Azure, Office 365 and Dynamics CRM Online
