Andreas Marx is a CEO and founder of AV-TEST GmbH. He has a diploma degree in Business Informatics and represents the company in dealings with institutions and customers. His in-depth knowledge when it comes to analyzing malicious software has made him a popular speaker at international conferences and symposiums.
As CEO and a founding member of AV-TEST GmbH, Guido Habicht is responsible for all of the Institute's organizational matters. Moreover, owing to his many years of expertise, the Information Technology Officer is a sought-after point of contact for industry and trade associations. Guido Habicht represents the Institute as an expert in governmental committees and in expert groups of public authorities.
Maik Morgenstern is a CEO and Technical Director of AV-TEST GmbH. He has a diploma degree in Engineering and is responsible for the planning and implementation of test operations in the Institute, in addition to managing the development of new test scenarios. In doing so, he and the teams he coordinates maintain a constant focus on technical innovations, as well as developments in the threat status for IT products from all market-relevant segments.
The AV-TEST Institute boasts identically equipped test laboratories, with over 200 workstations. The latest hardware and virtualized PCs are deployed for all product tests and evaluations.
Test systems developed in-house and with a high level of automation enable AV-TEST to perform analysis and classification of malware and tests in real time.
Over 200 servers and large memory systems boasting a capacity of over 2,500 terabytes provide processing and storage for one of the most comprehensive and up-to-date malware databases in the world.
