Working at AV-TEST – Careers and Applications

We are an independent IT security testing institute based in Magdeburg, Germany. For more than 20 years, we have been testing and certifying security products for Windows, macOS and Android, evaluating connected devices in our IoT laboratory, and analysing the latest malware. Our results are shared with manufacturers worldwide, specialist media and institutions such as the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Around 30 colleagues work here in small teams, focusing on specific projects and taking individual responsibility for their work. All workstations are equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offer plenty of freedom to develop innovative methods and concepts.
