The staff in our test laboratory carry our certification tests on anti-virus products in the fields of home-user and corporate solutions and conduct individual tests for manufacturers of security products.
Technical Laboratory

The staff in our technical laboratory analyse security solutions that do not fit into the fields of normal home-user and corporate solutions, for example virus scanners for mobile devices and special hardware solutions such as web-gateway scanners or protection solutions for virtual environments.

The staff in the Software Development departments at our offices in the German cities of Magdeburg and Leipzig produce AV-TEST’s own malware analysis and malware processing systems and develop test automation and data visualisation procedures.
