AV-TEST Awards 2018 go to Kaspersky Lab
Only the best IT protection solutions are contenders for the internationally recognized AV-TEST Awards. After all, with this award, the independent test institute honors only the most effective security products that have shown outstanding performance during a one-year test phase and thus set new standards for the IT security industry. Kaspersky Lab continuously demonstrated top performance throughout the entire 2018 test season, and therefore receives the AV-TEST Award 2018 in the test categories of "Best Protection", "Best Performance”, “Best Usability“ and "Best Repair".

In the area of consumers, Kaspersky Lab receives recognition for best protection on Windows systems for its "Internet Security" product. The manufacturer's "Small Office Security" security solution also earned the Award for best protection in corporate computing.
AV-TEST is recognizing the corporate product "Kaspersky Lab Endpoint Security" with the Best Performance 2018 Award for its strong protection with minimal reduction of system performance.
For proven best usability thanks to the lowest false alarm rate through the entire year of 2018, the AV-TEST Institute is recognizing the protection solutions "Internet Security" for the consumer field as well as "Endpoint Security" and "Small Office Security" for the corporate sector with the AV-TEST Best Usability 2018 Award.
In the field of repair performance in the aftermath of malware infection, the "Virus Removal Tool" repair tool and the "Internet Security" suite from Kaspersky Lab earned the Best Repair 2018 Award thanks to outstanding recovery performance of infected systems.
